It is sturdy, unobtrusive, and with an included insert, fits my umbrella very well. It thus far seems to be corrosion proof. I am quite happy with it.

This base will add over 100lbs to prevent the Umbrella from falling over. This base is a great asset to our umbrella stand! It is very, very durable and very easy to maintain. I'm so glad we have this base for those months, when the wind is blowing really bad. We don't have to worry about our umbrella falling over!
